How to Enter:
Create a captivating design that reflects our brand
Submit your design via our website by April 15 @ 5pm
Spread the word! Encourage friends, family and followers to vote for your design.
Here are the details:
- Contest registration begins: 02/15/2025
- Design submission deadline: 04/15/2025 by 5:00 pm
- Registration Guidelines: Anyone is welcome to participate!
Design Criteria:
- The T-shirt design must be your own original, unpublished work. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work, and Yankton Contact Center has exclusive rights to use your design.
- Although the front of the design is primary, you may also use the back of the T-shirt in your overall design plan.
- The Yankton Contact Center name should be included in the design.
- Items that could be included in the design:
- Our Current logo (Contact staff at info@yanktoncontactcenter.org to receive a digital copy)
- Our tagline: Feeding People. Nourishing Lives. Connecting Community.
- Celebrating 50 years of serving the emergent basic needs of the greater Yankton Community.
- As the designer, you get to recommend the color of the T-shirt that you believe best complements your design. The design can utilize as many as five spot colors.
- Your design entry should include:
- A high-resolution JPG or PNG of just the design image
- A JPG or PNG of the design placed on a t-shirt template to show the design placement. There are free online programs of your choice for T-shirt mock-ups.
- The designer’s signature can be incorporated into the design in an unobtrusive way is allowed.
- Submit your design online using the button below by the deadline of April 15, 2025
T-Shirt Judging Criteria:
Our contest judges will evaluate the T-shirt design based on the following criteria:
- Submission meets the criteria stated above
- Creativity and innovation
- Eye appeal, color, and layout
- The judges will include representatives of the Yankton Contact Center
- The top five designs will be featured in a Facebook Contest for a People’s Choice.
- Upon final review, the top five designs will be presented for a public vote from the community
- Votes must be submitted by 5:00pm (Central) on April 21, 2025
Contest Awards (Announced April 22, 2025):
- The winning designer will receive a **** reward.
- The winning design will then be used to help promote YCC programming.
Purpose of T-Shirt:
The winning design will be printed on high-quality T-shirts, given away to volunteers of the Yankton Contact Center, and sold to the general public as a fundraising tool.

Fine Print:
Publicity and Agreement: Contest entry constitutes an agreement by the submitting designers to grant a free license of all copyrights of the submitted works to The Yankton Contact Center in perpetuity for publicity and promotional purposes.
Media Release: By submitting artwork, you agree that if your design wins, The Yankton Contact Center retains first printing rights and a free license, in perpetuity, to utilize the design on t-shirts and other promotional items and marketing, fundraising, and public relations materials. You are guaranteeing that your design does not contain any copyrighted material, including images/copy found on the internet unless clearly marked as published under a Creative Commons (cc) license. Contest entrants who are not selected as the winning designer(s) retain all rights to their artwork.
